Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

car/truck accident

Hello,

I was struck from the rear by a tow truck driver who was answering his cell phone. I have eye witnesses that seen the accident. In the event my car was totaled. My doctor has stated that I have a serious back injury, I had MRI & EMG's to show that I do have nerve damage in my lower back, also I have a torn rotator cuff. What should I expect to recieve from mediation not only from my insurance company(state farm), but the truck drivers insurance company(auto owners). I have 2 doctors that are on my side and each insurance company has 1 doctor apiece. I want to make sure that I get justice, what should I seek in this mediation process, and how should I let my lawyer know what I want to accomplish.
