Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

Child safe at Catholic grade school

My daughter, as well as many others, are having issues with this one female girl in her class is a bully. They are currently in 4th grade but this haas been going on since firt grade and is increasing getting worse. We ahve made the school aware of this but nothing other than meetings with all of the girls with the new counselor but nothing has changed. The father of the girl in question is very nice and laid back, the mother is another issue. She is a bully herself and some of the mothers that went to school with her confirm that's how she was in high school. We teach our children not to hit or fight unless absolutely neccessary, my daughter would rather hug someone than argue. Hoe can I protect my child? Is there anything I can do to get the school to do? I sent and paid to have my children attend a private, catholic school were this should bethe least of my problems. Can you please help. Thank you in advance.

Re: Child safe at Catholic grade school

It would be very difficult to deal with this situation in a public school setting but it is even harder in a parochial school setting. Religious schools are given are much freer hand to take care of things in their own way than non-religious schools. However, money talks and everything else walks. If the school starts losing students, then I would bet that the problem would be addressed. William S. Stern
