Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

Credit / Other

Can I sue someone who I leased a car in my name? Person did not pay note on time and let the insurance lapse while going through transfer of lease. There was not anything signed but a verbal agreement and emails. Since I am going to be stuck with this major bill for quite sometime.

I would like to know if I could sue for damages to help.

Re: Credit / Other

If you have emails that may suffice to show there was a contract. You should consult an attorney because a good attorney may be able to use the emails to reconstruct the terms of the agreement.
