Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan
go-cart accident@play park resulting in stitches in head
At my husbands company picnic our 12 year old son had an accident on the go cart track resulting in an ambulance call. The cut was about 2 inches in the back of his head requiring stitches. We were told by the play park to submit copies of our ''out of pocket'' medical bills. We kept contact with the general manager, just to let him know we were waiting for all the bills to arrive and he seemed anxious to get it over with but now that we have all the bills we can't seem to get ahold of him. We dropped off copies to the play park on February 3rd with telephone numbers to contact us, still no response.
Note: ''Out of Pocket'' Items such as long term dental care and bald spot that are not ''out of pocket'' expenses right we will not be compensated for.

Depending on how and why the accident happened, the owner of the track may also be liable for non-economic damages such as pain and suffering and the scar. It is likely that the track carried insurance which would compensate you for your medical bills and non-economic damages. You should consult with an attorney to make a further determination in this regard. I would be pleased to speak with you at no cost to you.
