Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

hazardous inhalation
hello, two days ago at 10:00 am my work turned on are second air compressor. i started to smell something funny in my breathing air eg: i work at a foundry and have to where a protective mask to lower my exposer to silica and sparks, i'm a parts grinder and this mask pump's ''fresh breathing air''. after about 10 mins my eyes started to water and my nose was running. i went to my boss and told him.he said that he was aware of the smell and called matinece. the head matinece man said that the smell would clear up. about 10:35 i stared to gag and feel sick, i told my boss i could not work in these conditions,he said ''the smell will clear up and to work through it until lunch. lunch is at 11:00. also others people where breathing these fumes and complaining too. so i did what i was told and worked through till lunch. i got very sick and felt bad. so after lunch went back to my station,no difference in air quality so i refused to work and said i was going to go home and to the emergency room. they wanted me to go to there family doctor instead of e.r. after they call there doctor they told the company to take me to the e.r. instead of calling and ambulance they took me in the company truck. there negligence hurt me. can sue ?
