Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

hello,

ive been recently involved in a government bus accident where myself and my son (19 years old) was injured. the bus slammed into a car parked at a green light at an intersection, and another car was involved. not sure if the bus hit the second car or if the second car got hit by the 1st car. who exactly can we file a lawsuit against besides the government bus insurance company??? I contacted a lawyer who just so happens to be the lawyer of the injured person in the car that was hit first. he explained to me that it wouldn't be a conflict of interest, but im not sure about that because I was told by family that I can also sue the 1st car insurance company, the bus insurance company and the bus driver. Is this true??? we have sustained several injuries from this accident and the ambulance had to escort my son and I to ER at the hospital. because of this we have to get counseling, physical therapy and other procedures that I'm not sure of.

Please respond quickly!
