Intentional infliction of emotional distress
Could I sue my ex boyfriend for emotional distress. i developed panic attacks while dating him. They only occured in his presence. I usually passed out. He borrowed money from me after returning from our deployment because he supposedly gave his money to his drug addicted father. A week after spenging almost 1000 dollars on him, he called me to inform me that he was cheating on me, using me for the money, his dad was never on drugs, he never planned on paying the money back and much more. This caused me to have a panic attack in which i ran into a rail leading onto the freeway. He approached me at work with the same thing in which I had a panic attack in front of him and he just left me there unable to breathe. A co worker found me. I had to increase the medicine I was taking for panic attacks because he kept starting them and I couldn't control them. Because of this increase I had to drop a summer class because I couldn't focus on the medicine. I had to pay for that class. Later we got into an altercation in which he kicked me in the back and bruised me because I recorded him admitting that he owed me money. Can I make him pay for the class and car deductible.

You can certainly sue him if you want to invest the money in an attorney. Alternatively, you could just file the lawsuit yourself in small claims court on your own.
