Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

MVA Injury, Jury Trial, Lost

My case was finally heard after 2 1/2yrs. The judge would not dismiss the case, stating that I met all 4 points under MI No fault law for injury. Unfortunately, the jury did not feel that my life was altered or changed by the MVA. I have cranial nerve damage which affects my vision, had surgery on both knees with more extensive surgery in the future and am facing right hip surgery in mid-April, all due to this MVA. When we lost our case, my attorney and his senior partner said that I would hear from them this week, but I have not. Do I have any recourse (appeal, etc) or have I been victimized again? Also, I am still having difficulty in obtaining my no fault benefits from my carrier who just so happened to be the carrier for the at fault driver. When filing wage loss adjustment are ''holiday hours and mandatory overtime'' considered for the wage loss adjustment (I lost original job, now making $2 per hr less)? Thank you for your advice.

Re: MVA Injury, Jury Trial, Lost

You have 21 days from the date the written judgment enters to file an appeal, which in this case would be a judgment of no cause of action. I fail to see how you have been "victimized" by merely a week passing from the date of the trial.
