Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

October 2009, I was stabbed 6 times one of the wounds was to my kidney. I was visiting a friend and this guy broke through her bedroom window to attack her when he realized I was there he attacked me, this guy was not to be released from the lucas county jail due to some detainer. I now suffer from post dramatic stress, pain in almost every place I was stabbed, and about a $100,000 hospital bill that he should of had on his restitution. I was told I should sue either her landlords insurance or the jail for letting him go on accident. what do I do ?

Unfortunately, the only case is against him. There is no liability against a landlord or the jail. Tim Klisz
