Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

parked car accident

My car was parked at the side of the restaurant where I work. Two underage co-workers were asked to go to a store when they pulled out they clipped my car and kept going. This was a careless non-experience drivers accident. The owner of the car is the brother of one of the employees in the car with no insurance. The underage driver has no license. Both are minors. I only carry basic insurance and i would not want to go through my insurance any way. I have contacted the family and they seem reluctant to hold responsibility. It is $1700.00 worth of damage what can I do?? small claims court??

Re: parked car accident

If the restaurant owner asked them to go to the store for him, he is probably liable to fix your car. You can sue him and the kids and the owner of the car in small claims court.
