You should go to your dentist to determine if you have any injuries or require any treatment. If so, you should contact me to discuss this matter further, and I can take care of contacting the restaurant regarding your damages to see if they will provide any reimbursement for any bills, and something for your pain and suffering.

If you have no damages, then it is not worth pursuing, however, and either way, you will have to prove that your injuries occurred from the screw at the restaurant. You should have reported it to the store manager right after it occurred, and saved the screw and muffin, to assist you in proving that it came from them. Keep in mind that they takes these claims seriously, as many people make bogus allegations regarding tainted food (remember the whole Wendy's finger in the chili scandal a few years ago??).
