Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan
We are a not for profit social organization located in Michigan. We offer many social activities in members' homes where we serve alcohol, the cost of which is shared by the members. Our question is: if someone were hurt after attending such an event as a result of consuming alcohol, would the board be legally liable? Our group is presently not incorporated.
