Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan
I recently got hit by a guy being chased by the cops. My car is a total loss, and since I am Canadian and got hit in the United States, I cannot buy a new car here and am thus on foot for the remaining of my time here (about 6 weeks). I was wondering if I can sue the person for compensation and what happens if the person doesn'T have any money.
Thanks
Catherine
