Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

I suffered an eye injury at a well known store.
I was at a well known store trying to pick a heavy item up off the shelf and when i picked it up ,the item rubbed up against the edge of a shelf which was possibly allready broken and the the broken edge of the shelf broke off and flew in my eye,it hit my eye with strong force,ive had headaches ,and some blurry vision ever since, the doctor said he noticed bleeding from the cuts in my eye,do i have grounds to sue the store,i even took pictures of the shelf,they actually still havent fixed it yet.
