Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
bid on short sale house
we put in an offer of 65000 on a house listed at 64900, the house was foreclosed on and now the mortage company has it. We are now being told that the bank appraised the house for 90-100K and countered our offer at 80K.
Can they do that?

Re: bid on short sale house
the bank can present any counter offer it wishes, regardless of the appraised value.
