Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

bought a house and as doing repairs we are noticing things not present that were there during inspection

do we have any recourse

Like what? Is the water heater missing? Anything which was attached to the house is supposed to stay with the house, like a ceiling fan, for example. Even if something can be removed, it's supposed to stay with the house. Like the doorknobs. But if you're talking about shovels and rakes and other personal property, then those don't usually come with the house, unless specifically mentioned in the contract.
