Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
If I bought something from someone, and I loaned them an extra $200 plus their word of paying me back but they instead offer something of value to me in exchange of the debt but keep making excuses on why not to give it to me for almost 1 year now, and I have FULL text messages on my phone proving the deal between us, is there ANYTHING I can do legally to force them to give me what they owe me?

If you can show that a contract existed, via text messages, you can sue them in small claims court. You will have to prove that there was an offer and acceptance, and that you both understood and agreed to the terms. You need to print out these messages, with dates and times, and show that they came from the other party.
