Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
I want to buy a house which is currently rented to a family. The property owner said he will sell it to me. The family living in the home has either a land or rent to own contract/lease. Can I legally purchase this home? If he evicts them what right do they have to stay? My purchase of this property will be a cash sale paid in full in Michigan.

If they have a contract, you cannot buy it. If they are just tenants, you can after they are evicted.
