Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

ok heres the deal around 2 years ago we sold are mobile home on contract we only recieved the down payment and no monthly payments after that so what happened was we sued them but all we got was the mobile home back but sense it was on contract they were to be responsible for the lot rent which they also didnt pay so this is where i need the help so when we got the mobile home back we gave it to the trailer park for the back lot rent they accepted the mobile home and then about a year ago they turn around and sue us because we were supposibly on a lease but are lease ended on april 30 2007 and we didnt move out until around january of 2009 so how is it we owe money for a lease that wasnt even in effect anymore and heres the biggest problem we just got a paper in the mail from the treasurery and they are taking are income taxes we were relieing on that money we dont have hardly any money now i wonder what were gonna do i was thinking on sueing them but i dont know if it would be worth it and if theres a good enough case any and all help will be greatly appreciated thank you
