my parents estate (which includes a house that I currently live in and a cottage) was left to my brother and I. My brother was just released from prison and is currently being admitted into a

VA hospital because of his mental condition. He will never be able to live on his own.

Can I still put his name(with mine) on the 2 properties or will I have to buy his half out being that he will not be living here.
