Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

Eviction notice with no supporting documentation or reason

I am in a mobile home - I own the home and rent the lot for a period of 4 years now. The lease is month-to-month. I have received a letter from the ''manager of operations'' indicating that I have neglected previous notifications to fix certain violations and that I have cats that are not registered--he is also indicating a monthly fee. He has delivered an eviction letter for just cause- it is not a notice to quit, it is not from the courts or notarized, and the grammar is awful... Does the landlord have a process to follow prior to eviction for just cause? Does he have to show that I received notification and failed to act on it? Should this notification come from the court?

This manager has a tendency to threaten tenants to get things done. Thank you for your input.
