Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

I give an offer to buy a business and paid deposit to see an accountant's books.

After looking at the financial statements I decided not to buy the business.

I sent letter to the business broker to cancel my offer and requested my deposit back. I've get an e-mail from him where he promised to give my deposit check back in 15 days. I do not have my deposit back and the guy does not answer my phone calls and e-mails.

I have only his phone #,driver license #, and e-mail address.

Also I found out that this person has many bad reviews on Internet.

What should I do?
