Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
joint ownership real estate
My husband and sister own a house. Both names are on the mortgage. My husband lived there 18 yrs and paid the mortgage. His sister borrowed against the house. He moved out of state. She was to buy him out and moved in. She cannot refinance. A year later no money. Can he force her to sell to get his half?
