Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
judgement liens
I recently listed my home for sale and was notified of two judgment liens from a few years ago. The house is co-owned with my sister as tenants in common. The judgments are against me only. Can these still be filed against a home that is co-owned???

Re: judgement liens
If the judgment lien is valid, then yes, it can attach to property held in your name, to wit, the property co-owned with your sister.
