land contract
does the buyer in a land contract have any obligation to give the seller their social security number? the papers have all been signed 2 months ago and now the seller is saying they need my social security number for their tax purposes. do i give it to them?

Do not give it to them unless they point to some authority upon which they can rely to show you that you MUST give the number. The IRS / State should be able to use your name and address for identification purposes.
