left over property

We bought a house in July the old owners had 7 days to move their personal property. They still have some things here now in Jan. Do we have the right to dispose/sell what is remaining?

Yes, but I recommend writing them one more letter giving them a firm dealine for picking up their stuff. If they fail to pick up their stuff, I think you have every right to dispose of abandoned property. I would include the word "abandoned" in your correspondence.
