Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

In Michigan, What forcloses a vendees rights in a land contract action...is it the running of the statutory redemption period or the signing of the writ of restitution by the court. Secondly, if payment is tendered after the last day of the redemption period but PRIOR to the signing of the writ of restitution by the court...must that payment be accepted??
