Property damage during home inspection by a potential buyer..how much does buyer owe. Seller is asking for unreasonable compensation..pls advice

Generally speaking, the buyer owes the cost of repairing the damage; that cost must be reasonable. Your purchase agreement may have terms which impact this response.
