Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
We purchase a vacaton cabin, and at closing were given paperworks stating the the property taxes were 300% lower that the actual bill we recieved later. We can't afford the taxes. Is there anyting we can do?

Property tax always changes based on value. If value went up, so would taxes. If it was a homestead, that would do it too. You could inquire to find out why or sell the property as an out.
