Repairs and maintenance on a home.
My sister was living rent free in a
mobile home owned jointly by her and
myself. The home was recently sold
and my sister is deducting half the cost
of repairs to the home from my half of
the proceeds of the sale. Can she legaly
do this?

If there is any agreement otherwise she can not and moreover your sister was enjoying the property owned by you without any charges

What she is legally entitled to depends on the terms of your agreement for her occupancy and for the home maintenance. You may now consider claiming/collecting the rent for her tenancy. Since she has money, now is the time to act and hiring an attorney will increase your odds of success.
