Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
show cause and restraining order
We just won our 16 month property
dispute battle with our neighbors.
They tried to take part of our
property. Now we put up a fence on
our property and did exactly what the
township instructed and now we are
being sued by the neighbors. They
are trying to say our grass is their
right to walk on, drive on, etc. We
are on a private road and there has
been no problem for 20 years, the
lady doesn't have to come to court,
she claims she's too sick, yet, I have
pictures proving all the lies her
husband has said in court and she
herself threatened me and told me
she is not done with me yet. We
don't have any more money, what do
we do in this hearing?

Re: show cause and restraining order
At a show cause hearing you will need to show reason why you should not be held in contempt of court and why your actions should not be restrained.
A more specific explanation of the facts and background is required. If you would like to set forth this information in a question / comment on my website at www.lawrefs.com, a free legal advice site, I would be happy to respond with a more helpful answer.
