Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
My sister and I are on the title of my parents home which they left us, I want to borrow against the home and need to know if my sister has to sign for the loan because she is on the title as well.
How can I do this without her being responsible for the lein?

She will have to sign the mortgage, not the note. You will be responsible to pay, but she is liable to lose the property if you dont pay. Speak to your mortgage broker and this can be explained in detail. Kliszlaw.com. Tim Klisz
