Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
I have been storing a vehicle in my barn, for a friend of a family member for a low monthly rate. I need the room and need the car out which has been in my possession for almost 2 years now. I have called the individual many times and left numerous messages letting him know he needs to pick up the car. He has not responded. What can I do with the car legally, since we have a verbal agreement? He owes for multiple months, can I take ownership of the car? Call the police to have it towed as abandoned? Please help and thank you.
