Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

tax sale property warranty deed/quit claim

I recently purchased a property at a tax sale in Michigan. I have never done this before. I am told that I need to apply for quiet title. What I would really like is a warranty deed. If I contact a title company to get a warranty deed, will I be liable for paying off any liens on the property? If I do this, will I still need to apply for quiet title and how do I get all of this started? Thanks,

Re: tax sale property warranty deed/quit claim

This is not a simple process. You will probably require the assistance of an attorney.

Good luck.
