Filing an amended form (1040X) for the appropriate tax year should do the trick. For further consultation, please contact an attorney, tax preparer, or the Internal Revenue Service. Additional info should be found on www.irs.gov.

If an error was made with a previous return then amended returns need to be filed. Contact an attorney or tax preparer. (410) 750-2567
