Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

I was arrested on outstanding warrants for unpaid traffic violations (i.e. parking tickets, failure to change address) I received in michigan. I live in California and was on vacation in michigan when arrested. I had to return to California but have a court date set in Michigan for 10 days from now.

Do I have to return to Michigan to appear in person for the arraignment, or is there a way I can take care of this without making another trip?

Hire a local lawyer to represent you. As long as they are civil infractions. I have even represented out if state defendants on misdemeanors without their presence, but this is rarer. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz

Step 1 pay off all the tickets and get receipts.

Step 2 hire a lawyer who can resolve your difficulties with the court(s) without you having to return to Michigan.

If you can't afford step 1, step 2 is a waste of time.
