what is the cost and number of points i would recieve for a ticket for failure to yield resulting in a car accident in the state of michigan

Both the cost and the points will be determined by a number of factors. Most importantly is the statute they wrote the violation under. Then it depends on the city where the violation took place. Please consult with an attorney before going to court. Most people will go to court and admit responsibility and take a hit on their insurance.
