Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

I crashed my office car into another office car(both car are property of company leased from Avis for employee to use). this happen in the office parking lot entrance (ideal office property/ private property). so i drove the car to avis office for exchange as directed by my office.(my office did not care about the damage they asked me to go and change the car in avis- avis did not care since my office cover the expense). while i drove to avis , a cop stop me asked me if i had any problem, i said i crashed in to another office car near my office and since it is all office property i don't have any problem but he gave me ticket for "fail to stop in assured distance" he was nto even present during the accident by just listening to my words he gave me a ticket, can i go and explain this to a magistrate? and get out of fine and points.
