Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

Need driver's license or not?

Hello!

I've thought about going on a motorcycle trip to the States for month or two.I'm having the finnish drivers license for the car but not for the big motorcycle(over125cc).

Now i was wondering that if i have to take the motorcycle license to drive motorcycle in the US? Is it the same in all states, if not what's the differences?

All I can tell you is what is required in Michigan. Michigan requires that the operator of a motorcycle have a motorcycle "endorsement". I do not know what the laws of the other states are. However, I would expect the other states to recognize the validity of the Michgan "endorsement". Your problem may be in getting the endorsement without being a Michigan resident. Check with our Secretary of State for more definitive answers.
