It depends. Why was your license suspended? If it was because you failed to pay a previous traffic ticket, the penalty will likely be a small fine if you provide proof that you have paid the ticket. The charge itself can be reduced.

If it was suspended for any other reason you have to consider both fines, costs, incarceration, and further suspension or revocation of your driving privileges. It all depends on the reason for the suspension and you prior driving record. You can clear up your driving record and get insurance/registration before you go to court.
