Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

Driving w/out a license

I never applied for a driver's license so I've never had one period. I got pulled over yesterday and got a ticket for No operator's license (never applied). I have to go to court on Monday and was wondering how much trouble I'm going to be in and what my penalty will be.

Re: Driving w/out a license

One year probation, $500/yr. for 2 years to the state of michigan, $1600 fines and costs, one year license suspension.

You probably forgot to mention that you also didn't have any insurance which will get you additional fines and costs if charged.

It is a misdemeanor. You shouldn't have too much of a problem, but you don't want to have a misdemeanor on your record. They will try to convince you to just plea guilty because it's zero points, however, again you will have a misdemeanor on your record and it will follow you. Call me for help 5862851700

Likely just a fine if it is a first offense.
