Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
My son was in an accident in Michigan. He is an Ohio resident with SR22 bond. Michigan driver ran stop sign and was sited. She is uninsured. Is he entitled to compensation through uninsured motorist? He now has ambulance and hospital bills, storage and tow bills, and has no vehicle due to someone else's negligence.

Yes, his own coverage should take care of things. I'm certainly not familiar with Ohio law, but the contract of insurance is what it is. He can additionally sue the uninsured person, but that might be futile.
