Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

Speeding ticket

I received a speeding ticket for 10 over. What is the shortcomings to challenging it in court? There is no legitimate reason to believe I am not guilty. Is it likely that since I have had a clean driving record for over 25 years that the court may dismiss this? Is there a likelihood that I may be accessed significant court costs?

Fines are set by statute. You could cetainly do better than just paying the ticket. I help people on these kinds of matters hundreds of times a year. Visit www.kliszlaw.com for a free consultation. Tim Klisz

Re: Speeding ticket

If you hire an attorney, he can ask for a formal hearing and probably negotiate a better deal with the prosecutor that may reduce the impact a ticket has on your insurance rates and reduce the fines you may have to pay. So even if you are guilty, getting an attorney is probably a good investment. Contact my office if you need help with this.
