Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
Being stopped for High beam on
Can an officer stop someone solely on having the high headlights on. Furthermore, the driver is asked where is he comming from or going to? The time was 11:00 PM. The officer let the driver go on a verbal warning that they do issue ticket for that act after he took the driver lisence and registration and appearently ran a background check. Have my rights been violated?

Re: Being stopped for High beam on
Yes and no, simple as that. No high beams in other drivers' faces and no, your rights were not violated. He didn't search you, right?
