Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
subject matter jurisdiction
if there is a lawsuit because of an accident that occurred in michigan, and the plaintiffs domicile is michigan but the defendants domicile is ohio, can the case be heard in ohio even though it wouldnt be practical for the plaintiff? i guess my question is, does the case need to be heard in the state the accident occurred in?
