Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

Can i sue a city for not taking action on nuisance noise from truck traffic that wakes up family anywhere from 4:00am to 8:30 am? Its affecting the quality of our lives! Cant open windows during warm months due to the dust and noise! I asked the trucking company to use the other way that they have to go and he said its a public road! The city traffic committy threw my complaint out and said there's nothing they can do! My next step is to go to city counsel but i want to know if i can tell them that if they dont do anything about this Matter then i will have to take legal action!

No, you can't sue the city. But, the fact situation may reveal that you could get some injunctive relief from the trucking company. Getting the support of your neighbors would be your first step.
