Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan

traffic citation

I received a speeding ticket 30 in a 25. but I didn't know I was even being pulled over...I got to my friends house and exited my vechile...the cop pulled in the driveway and made me get back into my car...well , I was in a 35 zone when he pulled into my friends driveway...he even called dispatch to see who lived in the home after I stated my friend lived at the address I was at...Is that illegal? Btw, I'm in MI...thanks

As long as the officer clocked you speeding in the 25 mph zone, then yes, what he did was legal. The ticket would state what intersection or roads he used his radar at. When he called dispatch, he was just verifying the excuse you were giving him. He probably thought you didn't pull over on purpose.
