Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
Traffic Violation
I received a speeding ticket for 50 in a 45. Radar gun said ''57''. I am 57, never had a speeding ticket before. I do not believe that I was speeding. Also, when I reviewed the ticket, the officer had not copied my address correctly. He used another street name not mine. Can this information be used to void the ticket? Thank you

Re: Traffic Violation
No, it cannot be used to void the ticket. If you have a great record like you do, the Court would most likely allow you a plea to keep the points off your record for a payment of a fine. Otherwise, you get a formal hearing. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss your options. Tim Klisz
