Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
Violation of Restricted License??
I was pulled over and given a ticket for ''violation of restricted license'' but I was coming from work, which I'm allowed to do. I took it to jury. But 1 week later I got pulled over and ticketed for the same thing, except I wasnt goin to work, I had to buy my son diapers! What's gonna happen? Should I seek the help of an attorney??

The same thing that was gonna happen if you lost your first case except, if it's the same judge, he may give you the full penalty.
You do need help. Also you could use the services of an attorney.
Re: Violation of Restricted License??
Sounds like you're admitting that once you were right, once you were wrong.
Getting diapers isn't a real excuse,--you should have them on hand without having to break the court order. Every baby poops, so it's kinda foreseable, isn't it??
Still, you might ask the judge for a little leeway to get your shopping done...but if you have a spouse who can do it instead, don't expect a lot of sympathy. Courts like their orders to be respected, without trying to find wiggle room.
Re: Violation of Restricted License??
I'd recommend hiring a lawyer to handle the hearing and negotiate with the prosecutor. Unfortunately they don't negotiate with people without having a lawyer present - unfair, yes, but it's the reality - i've done this a hundred times. If you'd like to spend a few hundred bucks and have me appear on your behalf and negotiate something, let me know. If your previous DWLS ticket was actually dismissed, and not on your record, you have a better chance at negotiating. Call or email me immediately as the appearance has to be filed right away. 248.644.8771. ext 37
Thanks.
