Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
i walked out of a house and an officer asked me for my license. he asked me how i got here ,and i told him i drove. when he ran my license it was suspended for an unpaid five over ticket. he then issued me a ticket that says drove while license suspended. is this a ticket i should fight. is this something police are allowed to do. it seems moraly wrong, and i feel like i am being punished for telling the truth. there was a automobile in the driveway that was not mine,it was my friends. i do not have a automobile.
